You stay in Claude Code. Finest Frontier for the hardest work, Finest Quick when speed is the job, and the Claude catalog still one row below, in the CLI, VS Code, and the Mac app alike.

Claude serves by default. Your commands, your tools, your subagents, your picker: nothing about the workflow changes.
A lower priced model serves only where sealed evidence cleared the published quality bar for that exact kind of request.
No evidence, no substitution: your request serves on the Claude model you picked. Claude is always the fallback. Fail closed, never fail cheap.

The audit trail

Receipts on every request

A claimed saving you cannot check is a price you cannot trust. Every request through Finest produces a receipt, and the receipt is the bill.

Every metered call records the model you asked for, the model that served, and both prices.
The fee is 25% of verified savings. A request served exactly as asked is never charged for.
Substitutions below the frontier bar carry their quality tier on the receipt, disclosed, never silent.
